If you are good with people, are well-organised and self-motivated, and have an interest in helping people get what they are entitled to, we would be happy to consider your application for this role.

You would be working with a variety of partners to ensure that families in the pilot areas are helped to claim benefits they are entitled to. You will support people through the claiming process at events held at various locations, in people’s homes and over the telephone.

You will need:

  • excellent communication skills;
  • an ability to plan your own workload, prioritise and meet deadlines;
  • an ability to work well as part of a team and on your own;
  • an ability to learn detailed information quickly and accurately; and
  • good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.

No prior experience of welfare benefits is required, as full training in this will be provided to the successful candidates.

If you would like to have an informal chat about this role, please contact Mike Cahill, KBP Manager, on 0845 345 0310 between 1pm and 5pm on weekdays.
