Benefit Assessment Officers x3

Maidstone Borough Council

Mid Kent Services, Revenues and Benefits Team has a vacancy for 3 Benefits Assessment Officers to process claims for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support.   Experience of benefit administration or similar is essential, and experience of using the Academy benefits system would be an advantage.

These posts are career graded and you will be appointed on the scale depending on your previous experience.

Primarily working from our office in Maidstone, Employed on Maidstone Borough Council’s Terms and Conditions.

The Council considers that all roles should be able to communicate clearly and concisely.

These are full time positions with one permanent contract and the other 2 positions being offered on fixed term contracts for 2 years.
