Benefits Assessment Officers 2 x 2 fixed term

Mid Kent Services, Revenues and Benefits Team has a vacancy for 2 Benefits Assessment Officers to process claims for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support.   Experience of benefit administration or similar is essential, and experience of using the Academy benefits system would be an advantage.

These posts are career graded and you will be appointed on the scale depending on your previous experience.

Primarily working from our office in Maidstone, Employed on Maidstone Borough Council’s Terms and Conditions.

The Council considers this to be a customer focused roles and the ability to converse at ease with customers adapting communication style to suit differing audiences and provide advice in accurate spoken English is fundamental to the role.

There are 2 full time positions on a fixed term contract for 2 years available.
