Benefits Team Manager

Rother District Council

Our Revenues and Benefits team are looking to recruit an experienced and effective leader on a 1 year fixed term contract for maternity cover.

The ideal candidate will be have experience of working in a Housing Benefit and/or Revenues environment, be self-motivated, proactive, ambitious and experienced in leading a large team. You will need strong listening and problem solving skills and the ability to manage challenging situations and conversations. You will be committed to continuous improvement in service delivery.

The post holder will assist the Revenues and Benefits Manager in the day to day operational management of the department’s functions. You will be required to lead, develop and motivate your team whilst working to tight deadlines and contributing to service improvements.

Salary range / grade: Up to £37,982 per annum pro rata Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience
