Credit Control Officer (2 Year Fixed Contract)

The Company, which is owned by East Lindsey and South Holland District Councils, provides core services to the councils. The Company exists to provide outstanding services to the clients and has an integrated (‘one-team’) ethos with an emphasis on delivering high quality, business focussed, and value-for-money public services.

Applications are invited for an experienced individual to join our busy Credit Control Team.

An opportunity has arisen to join our Credit Control Team to provide administration and recovery service for sundry debt owing to Clients and the Company.

You must have current, or recent, experience of working in a Credit Management or similar focussed environment. Experience working within local government or similar environment would also be helpful.

With excellent communication skills, you will be able to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide range of people, in writing, over the telephone and in person.  Ensuring that all processes are delivered efficiently and that contact with external customers and clients are conducted with a high degree of professionalism.

 It is essential that you are able to work as part of a team, to be flexible and adaptable to cope with changing priorities, and with the ability to work with little supervision to achieve tight deadlines.  

Applicants will be subject to a Basic Disclosure Scotland check.
