Customer Services Advisor Level 2

Coventry City Council

Do you get a real buzz from giving excellent customer service?  Are you an experienced Council Tax Advisor? Or have you experience of assessing Housing Benefit Claims?

If so then let’s talk …

Its 2019 and Customer Services in Coventry has changed, we’ve brought services together so that customers are able to contact us once for all their needs, we’ve improved our self-service options and we see our customers face to face in a new customer services centre in the city centre.

We have a number of posts across our Housing Benefits and Council Tax Teams, including part time.

You will be part of a team answering customer enquiries regarding Housing Benefits and Council Tax.

This will involve dealing with face to face enquiries in our customer service centre and telephone enquiries in a contact centre setting.

You will need excellent customer service and communication skills to deal with a diverse range of customers and will have the ability to cope in a fast-paced environment. 

Full training can be provided but knowledge and experience of benefits and in particular assessing benefits claims is an advantage.

Candidates who have already applied or attended a Customer Services Assessment in the last 12 months need not reapply.
