Properties Compliance Officer

Breckland Council

We are seeking self-motivated and suitably qualified candidate to join our busy Compliance Team based at Breckland House, Thetford.

Be part of our successful Compliance Team to identify through planning portal and proactive research new applications for domestic and business rate properties to ensure identification and rating by the Valuation Office.

Requirements of the role:

  • Team player and can work on own initiative
  • To process and maintain new property registers
  • Update computer systems and records
  • To search planning portals and mapping systems
  • Proactive desktop intelligence research
  • To liaise with service areas of partner councils
  • Work closely with the Visiting Officer Team
  • To work to personal and team targets
  • Ability to work from home where necessary
