Revenues Officer

Oadby-Wigston

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our Revenues and Benefits team You will be part of a small team dealing with Council Tax and Business Rates collection and billing.

You will help customers to set up accounts and payments for their Council Tax and Business Rates. You will also provide advice and support to ensure customers receive any benefits, discounts and exemptions they are entitled to.

To be considered for this role it is essential that :

· You have experience of helping customers;

· You can organise competing workloads to meet targets.

· You can process data quickly and accurately

· You have experience of using Microsoft Office.

· You have excellent communication skills;

· You are a team player but also able to work on own initiative;

· Be committed to delivering a high quality service for our customers

It would be advantageous if you have experience of:-

· Working in a Revenues and Benefits environment.

· Using a Revenues I.T. System such as Academy.

· Using a Document Management system.
