Senior Revenues and Benefits Officer

Rother District Council

Our Revenues and Benefits team are looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated individual to support the benefit assessment team in providing an accurate and effective service to the residents of Rother.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years recent experience of working in a benefit environment and have an excellent knowledge of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction legislation. You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressure to a high degree of accuracy.

The duties of the post are varied and will include the assessment of complex claims, the interpretation of Government legislation and the provision of support and guidance to the team.
